Meet Elizma

At the heart of her original music lies Elizma’s story. A story of her healing journey that she shares in the hopes of lending a guiding hand to those who need it the most. Her songwriting often deals with deeper topics like mental health, addiction/recovery, and recognizing the reality of toxic relationships. Elizma doesn’t write with the intention of having a hit, nor does she attempt to confine her music to any one genre. In the same sense, her vocal style often soars from high arias to grounded-powerful belts, all while maintaining a balanced delivery that substantiates the meaning of the song.  

As a stroke of divine intervention, Elizma’s journey led her to meet legendary rock producer, Jeff Glixman, who has worked with artists like Kansas, Gary Moore, ELO, Black Sabbath, Yngwie Malmsteen, Bob Marley, etc.. Glixman hired her as his assistant, having no idea of her talent. One day Elizma got the courage to send him the demo for her song “Morning Coffee Baby.” Although the song was written years before, Glixman could hear every detail that made her unique. From there he did what Jeff Glixman does best - recognizing a diamond in the rough and knowing exactly how to cut it in a way that makes it sparkle.
